Advanced Security Architecture
Built to Protect Your Clinic
At OPD Manager, patient privacy and cryptographic safety are engineered directly into our core. Explore the technical standards we maintain to ensure your records are secure, compliant, and accessible only to you.
End-to-End Encryption
All personal patient records, contact profiles, and clinic demographic entries are protected in transit utilizing strong TLS protocols, and stored inside the database using standard 64-bit encryption and decryption algorithms.
Expiring Signed Cloud Documents
Uploaded patient documents, reports, and clinical attachments are stored securely inside a separate cloud server. The application generates dynamic, signed access keys with 1-minute limited time expiry links, making all outside access impossible after sixty seconds.
One-Way Bcrypt Cryptographic Hashing
Clinician login security is robust. User passwords associated with emails are never kept in plain text. Instead, they are hashed using one-way bcrypt hash encryption prior to database storage, safeguarding credential logs against exposure.
N-gram Encrypted Search Matching
To find patients instantly without exposing indices, OPD Manager uses a secure parser with N-gram search indexing. This enables robust partial keyword searches over encrypted name directories without decrypting full data tables.
How OPD Manager Secures Your Records
This abstract pipeline shows how data enters our system, splits across secure containers, hashes credentials, and encrypts tables at every stage.
1. Secure Authentication
Users login with Email/Password. Passwords are encrypted using one-way bcrypt hashing before hitting DB tables.
2. Patient E2E Protection
Patient demographics are cryptographically encrypted using 64-bit keys. Search is done over ciphertexts with N-gram indices.
3. Ephemeral Cloud Storage
Documents live in a separate isolated cloud storage server. Shared file URLs dynamically expire exactly 1 minute after creation.
